April 21st Assigment
Hello all,
Today we are going to get a little more familiar with the information available online for using public transportation.
I have a job interview at 10:00 am at the Royal Ontario Museum(ROM; 100 Queen's Park, Toronto).
I will start at 1500 Main St. West, and end at the ROM.
First, I want to take the Hamilton Street Railway (HSR) http://www.myhamilton.ca/myhamilton/CityandGovernment/CityServices/Transit
From there I will take the Go TRAIN to Union Station:
http://www.gotransit.com/
and then I need to take the Toronto transit (TTC)
http://www3.ttc.ca/
On your blog, please give me the details about:
- Which buses/trains to take
- When I need to take them (times)
- How much it will cost

April 7th, 2009 Assignment
For today's assignment, we are going to start off by learning about podcasts. First, I want you to go and find out what a podcast is. You can start by checking out one of my favourite sites on the net, http://www.wikipedia.org/ - the world's biggest encyclopedia. Near the bottom of the screen you can type in the word "podcast" (or any other subject that you are interested in), and it will find the page that explains what they are. For more information, you can also type "What is a podcast" into the search bar on www.google.com and search for other sites which explain what they are. After you are clear on what a podcast is, I want you to write a post explaining (in your own words) what a podcast is.
